A short break can begin on any day of the week and last as long as you wish. A weekend break can be inexpensive (from £110) with both nights (either Fri/Sat or Sat/Sun) accommodation based in Castle Douglas. You are free to choose from our weeklong tours listed or build a tour from the daily routes we have within the SHORT BREAKS category . We can also incorporate rest days or half days to allow you to spend time to look around the picturesque scenery and small towns of the area. We are 'up front' from the beginning to say that we are not mountainbiking specialists although we have some knowledge having been on a 2 day trail leading course using green, blue and a bit of red trails. We now appreciate what we don't know about true mountainbiking!
This is not to say we can't use our cycling tour arranging skills and knowledge of the region for the benefit of mountainbikers or partners/families. With similar skills involved, including our mapping system, we are pleased to design tailormade walking breaks to suit customers preferences as to duration, difficulty, terrain, facilities, restaurants etc along with accommodation provision in B&B's, Guest Houses or hotels of all standards.
Should some members of a cycling or walking party wish to undertake some other activity, we are able to provide information and advice along with accommodation on golf, horse riding and trekking, bowling, sailing, water skiing etc and even non-active breaks such as spa and therapy breaks.
