Prices are calculated assuming two cyclists on a tour and reflect whichever services you require from

a) Accommodation, depending on the standard required -  2 sharing a room
b) Luggage transfer, if required -  depending on distances.
c) Arrival / Departure pickup/delivery arrangements - if required, from Dumfries or Lockerbie railway stations
d) Cycle hire, if required, and

Standard services include

a welcome meeting on arrival - to go over the tour, and
a tour information pack - including daily itinerary, maps, places of interest leafets etc.
a back-up service - during your tour

Reduced rates for groups of 4 or more booking together.

Part of our service is that we arrange your accommodation during your cycling tour. This allows us to combine our local knowledge of accommodation locations and the best routes for your benefit.

Here is a guide to accommodation options and approximate costs:-

• Youth Hostels - around £13 - £17 per night
• Bed and Breakfast Houses (normally no more than 6 guests) - around £26 to £35 per night
• Guest Houses (normally at least 4 letting bedrooms, some do evening meals) - around £30 to £40 per night
• Small Hotel/Inn (liquor licensed with lunches and evening meals provided) - £35 to £45 per night
• Medium Sized Hotels - around £40 to £60 per night
• Best Hotels in the area - a limited number but 4 star rated - from approx. £60 to £100+ per night
• Self Catering Cottages - from £200 to £1000 per week. See below.

ACCOMMODATION SINGLE SUPPLEMENT
Most accommodation places charge a supplement for cyclist occupying a single or twin room alone. Tour costs will reflect this. Supplements are from £5 per night.

GUIDED TOURS 
We use Quality B&B's / Guest houses or Small Hotel Accommodation
Tours costs reflect the cost of a guide. 

LUGGAGE TRANSFER COSTS
The number of luggage moves during a tour, direct distance by vehicle and the number of tour participants are used to calculate baggage transfer costs.
Recently fuel costs have risen. We therefore offer singe base, twin base and circular tours with more than one overnight stay in some places to minimise costs.
For a tour with 4 or 5 luggage transfer moves of around 30 miles there and back, a charge may be £80 to £100. 

ARRIVAL PICKUP / DEPARTURE  RETURN
We can pickup and return from Lockerbie and Dumfries railway stations and at Prestwick, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Newcastle airports for groups of up to 7.

CYCLE HIRE
2 days - £25; 3 days - £36; 4 days - £44; 5 days - £55; 6 days - £65; 7 days - £75

A deposit of 25% of the tour cost is requested to secure a booking.
